The human is facing, as never before, to have to review his path to this day. There are many open fronts that demand, without delay, a sincere and profound recognition of the mistakes made, as a first step for a widespread change that is felt necessary, essential, inevitable.
Everything should be checked urgently. All at same time. Each of the fronts cannot be addressed separately: the model of society; environmental impact; coexistence with the rest of sentient beings; the economic model; competitiveness; inequality; resource scarcity and their distribution; subjugation of one another –especially that suffered by women for the mere fact of being so–; exploitation of many by a few; discrimination based on race, ideology, beliefs or sexual orientation… the list is endless.
They must be addressed at same time for the simple reason that they have a common cause: the feeling of separativity that confuses us and makes us see the life we say we live as something alien to us; a separativity that generates the fear that accompanies us from the very moment of the so-called “birth”; a separativity where have origin all the conflicts, hopes and fears that overcome us, both individually and collectively. A sincere in depth analysis will find that it is impossible to find effective resolution for any of the fronts, without openly addressing the need for radical change –it means, of root– in vital attitude of the human being.
Throughout history, great beings of all times, both from the East and the West, coincided to point out the Oneness of Life, adding further that the realization of the Non-Dual Nature of Life leads the human being to the natural fullness that corresponds him.
A realization that escapes us because the paradox that it entails. It’s not something we have to achieve, learn or conquer. Rather, it is a question of identifying and releasing those egotic mechanisms to which we are clinging and that feed such a feeling of separativity. Therefore, it’s not a question of acquiring purely intellectual knowledge or concepts. Nor to adopt new dogmatic beliefs.
Sri Bhagavan Advaitananda Vyasa Goe highlighted this paradox by enunciate his Proclamation as The Doctrine of the Non-Doctrine of BEING. There is no Doctrine, no need. That would be the Doctrine. We are LIFE, because nothing can be outside of Her. Nothing can be alien to Her. It’s enough to realize what our true nature is, to dispel the confusion of duality and the fragmentary vision with which we commonly live.
Of course, to understand each other, we must first know what we are talking about when we talk about LIFE, like this, in capital letters. We will also need to recognize and deactivate the mechanisms that prevent us from being aware of our own nature, fueling the dual feeling that cause all conflict and suffering.
Advaitananda V.G. constantly pointed out that there is no more secret than naturalness, the naturalness to living. Nothing must be forced. Nothing must be imposed. Nothing must be rejected. Not left over, not lack nothing else. A frank yearning to clear vision, and constancy in courageous and sincere introspection will suffice.
Live. Just live. That’s how simple, though perhaps–certainly– it may not be easy. But not give out. Let’s beguin our journey, at least, with the calm and confidence of the intuition that we are VIDA, even if we don’t live it fully yet. Let’s ride the paradox of Oneness and Multiplicity, and we’ll realize that they aren’t really two things. So we’ll discover the art to really live: The Art of Non-Duality.
Experience isn’t what one live,
it’s what one is.No trust needed
if you’re already “it”.Doubt is generated by belief.
Advaitananda Vyasa Goe
You live when you no longer need to explain.
